A pair of our first 2 coffees: Corsica and Nizza. These delicious blends have stood the test of time and are still our top-selling coffees over 26 years later.
Corsica – It’s a coffee you know and love, with deep, dark chocolate tones and a bold coffee flavor. Named for an ancient island in the Mediterranean, Corsica’s cocoa notes pair beautifully with milk or stand-alone, making it the perfect filter coffee for a fulfilling morning.
Cupping notes: Baker’s Chocolate, Red Wine, Spices
Nizza – A medium roast blend that hits at the heart of sweet. It’s named for the city of Nice, France, hometown of our co-founder JP and home to some of the best honey in the world. True to its name, this coffee exemplifies a honey-sweet, roasted nuttiness. It’s one of our longstanding favorites, and the coffee we use for espresso in all La Colombe cafes.

I first had La Colombe coffee when out for brunch with friends over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I had never had it before. My friend and her son commented about how delicious their coffee was and I couldn’t help but agree! We asked the waitstaff professional what coffee the cafe used and she told us it was La Colombe! We couldn’t stop raving about our hot coffees! I enjoyed it so much so that I ordered the Originals Pack because it included Nizza which is the exact coffee that had been served to us at the cafe! I couldn’t wait to receive it and will admit I appreciated this blend of coffee so much that I brewed some using my new Chemex even though I purchased the coffee to serve family that will be staying with my family and me for the Christmas holiday! I couldn’t wait and it did not disappoint! It was delicious! So very happy to have happened upon a treasure like this!
